Woodland

SecondaryPurchase your Woodland first then get the 3-Color Desert when you can. We use these patterns to differentiate teams so get both as soon as possible. Accessories are optional and should match the uniform pattern when possible.
Patches
Our patches consist of a Centurion Patch, US Flag Patch, Centurions Name Tape, and a Personal Name Tape.

Right Shoulder
These shoulder patches have velcro backing. All members are expected to sew velcro on their uniform so they are easy to change. We change patches for different scenarios to avoid using armbands. Velcro will be issued with the patches to all new members.
In addition, we issue two name tapes for your blouse that go above the pockets: 'Centurions' for the left side and 'Your Name' (or nickname) on the right side. Name tapes will be ordered for you in both green and brown when you join and are sewn on to your uniform.
Airsoft Gun
You may use any type of airsoft gun as long as it does not exceed the following velocity limits:
Outdoor: 400 fps (ft/sec) or less with .20g ammunition. After extensive field testing these limits have proven to be both effective and safe on the battlefield. These limits are becoming common at most games and they are used to ensure safety.
Indoor: 320 fps (ft/sec) or less with .20g ammunition. While it is not mandatory, we prefer that you invest in military style/M16 series weapons as a primary and Kalishnikov style/AK series weapons as a secondary.
M16 Series
Primary
AK Series
SecondaryAgain, this is not mandatory and you are free to use a variety of weapons, but we strive to have a contrast between our armies. The M16 series tend to signify 'Western' forces and the AK's are notorious as their counterpart throughout the world. Please try to invest in these as they will enhance your experiance on the battlefield.
Safety Gear
Paintball-approved goggles are required for all events.
Safety glasses, tactical glasses, military dust goggles, etc. are UNACCEPTABLE. JT, Scott, and other types of paintball-approved goggles ARE acceptable. Thermal lenses are a must or your goggles will fog up during play. A sweatband or other material to cover your forehead will help prevent you from fogging up as well.
Again, the only acceptable goggles are paintball goggles. These are readily available from sporting goods stores, department stores, and paintball retailers. This is due to insurance requirements at most fields and to set a good example for others. These goggles have proven to be extremely durable and the requirement will not change.
Facemasks are often required as well. This varies according to the field and type of game. Read the game requirements for each event to find out.
Footwear
Centurions are required to wear black or brown boots with their uniform. Boots are a personal preference, but Altima combat boots are preffered.
Good quality boots ensure both durability and comfort on the battlefield. There are many types of boots available and it is wise to invest in a high quality pair for sustained use.
Recommended Gear
In addition to the mandatory requirements listed above, we recommend the following gear for sustained airsoft play:
- Headgear (Boonie Hat, etc.)
- Thermal Lenses for Goggles
- Small rag to wipe goggles
Note! Never touch thermal lenses! You must use micro-fiber cloth or you will scratch them.- 1-3 Hi Capacity Magazines
- 1-2 Hi Capacity Batteries
- Battery Charger (w/DC capability)
- Watch or other Timepiece
- Harness (belt + suspenders) or Tac Vest
- Gloves
- FRS Radio
- Canteen or CamelBack
