People and friends of Rio Tecate,
Amigos, it brings me great joy to share with you the progress made this month by the Free & Open Rio Tecate movement, commonly called "the freedom fighters". Along with our "Centurion" advisors, we have battled the venemous forces of ASP several times this month, and have made great progress in the struggle to preserve freedom in Rio Tecate. Despite some small setbacks, I believe that we have reached a turning point, and are on the verge of international recognition, and vast sums of foreign aid.
During the past month, we captured an ASP operative who had been indulging in the Carnaval festivities. Despite ASP's best efforts to recover this operative, we were able to question him at length while holding off ASP raiding parties. After several days in custody, the ASP operative saw the error of his ways, and revealed to us much useful information, including the location of ASP's secret base. The operative was subsequently executed for his crimes against the people of Rio Tecate.
Our raid on the ASP base camp was not fully successful, as we could not take the critical bridge leading to the camp. This despite the heroic efforts of Freedom Fighter "Los" who sustained serious injuries in his dramatic attack that almost took the bridge single-handedly.
As we fell back from the aborted attack, we consoled ourselves with the knowledge that tha ASP would now have to relocate their base camp - which would take up much time and effort.
In the days that followed, we were able to escort a convoy of food and medical supplies to the children of Rio Tecate City, despite ASP ambushes along the roads. We were also able to prevent an ASP convoy of narcotics from reaching a neighboring country where thay would have been exchanged for weapons with which to subjugate the people of Rio Tecate.
In the coming months, look for us to make greater strides to attain political supremacy and stability in Rio Tecate. We are already planning "OPERATION: MAS CERVESA" to take advantage of our victories.
