I would like to thank everyone who went on Op: Red Dawn for providing an excellent environment and game for my first Airsoft experience.Everyone in the group was warm and welcoming. I felt right at home with the group.
Thanks to everyone who provided me with volumes of information about the guns and airsoft systems. The information I garnered over the trip helped me to narrow my decision down for the purchase of a gun.
I enjoyed the theme of the game and the location was sweet, even if my seat of the pants determination was that mobility over the terrain averaged three feet per minute. I have a feeling that Red Dawn II will be seeing many more people with small snow shoes…
Thanks again for the great game and awesome experience.

D-Day,That was a blast on Saturday!!!!!!! I had a great time up there!!!
In my Army "way back days" I did Mountain Warfare training up at Fort Richardson Alaska, we played around in and on glaciers, etc. In fack the long snow shoes I had there were mine 30 years ago, I took them with me when I left Alaska, still have the Army ID tags on them. They were meant more for cross country scouting than actual "in your face" combat like we did Saturday.
My "high point" of the adventure was when Rodger and I set out to track the downed pilot after no one else had found him, we were looking for a single set of tracks, earlier in the day the people with snow shoes were in pairs of 2 if not 3, we went looking for a man by him self. "SCORE"!! Old fashion stealth and tracking paid off there for us. Any way, I had a blast, thank you for inviting me to play on this game!!!
